Dolby atmos demo disc update#
This is a cosmetic issue and you will still be receiving Dolby Atmos audio as our team have tested this, this will require a future update to Dolby Access to resolve this issue however - so I would suggest to keep an eye out for that update for this issue to This is an issue we are aware of and this issue is related to an update that Microsoft/Xbox have implented ****o. Thank you for contacting Dolby Customer Support. I understand they said we are still gettingĪtmos but thats only true if you arent using a headset to chat because the moment i plug mine in to the 3.5 jack on the c****y changes the audio settings to 7.1 uncompressed instead of Bitstream Atmos. So please please please get this feedback to the right people and make your support team aware so people know whats going on and xbox can get this fixed. Okay Xbox i just received this from the Dolby support team. Tl dr Atmos working through Xbox Blu-ray player but not apps. Not sure if it means anything but every time I switch from Atmos to Dolby or DTS in Xbox settings, it prompts me to set up Access again. Just tried Apocalypse Now Blu-Ray and Nakamichi demo disc with Xbox set to Atmos output and both sounded great with Atmos.

Switching output to Dolby Digital or DTS on Xbox allows upmix/surround. Since the middle of last week I’ve not been able to get any of the apps to play Dolby Atmos even though Nakamichi says it’s receiving Atmos.Įven trying non-Atmos content and Dolby Surround/Upmix, SSE, etc has no effect if Xbox is set to output Atmos. I was able to get Dolby Atmos working fine on my Xbox One S (Apocalypse Now Blu-Ray, Dolby Access App, Mad Max Fury Road on Vudu App) last Set up is LG 65" TV, Xbox One S, Nakamichi 7.2.
